Kawakawa tea

We are learning about medicinal native plants and how to use them. On Tuesday March 22nd we made Kawakawa tea from Kawakawa leaves that someone from our class brought in from home. We could really taste that it was made from a plant. Some of us didn't like the taste at all and others enjoyed the taste. It can be helpful for tummy aches and the tea is good to drink if you are getting a cold. It was a really interesting experience.
